KISS

If you think that you would like to do something a bit different by adding something new to your virtual tour like your pet dog as an avatar, well that is the kind of challenge I enjoy. If however you are on a limited budget or prefer a less complex presentation we can stick to the age old principal of “KISS” which, of course is “Keep it simple stupid.” Whatever kind of tour you want or even if you just want to discuss ideas, drop me a line in the contacts page.

Menu Driven Vs Walkthrough this was research done at university looking at user preference. Both panoramas are of the same caravan park but presented in different ways. For me walkthrough wins every time. See what you think. I no longer make the panoramas auto rotate as this is user preference.

Walkthrough Menu Driven

Here is an example of panoramas in a Java player. The positive point here is that the picture is clearer, but the negative is that very few people have or are prepared to install this player on their browser and it only works using a menu system, thus not giving the immersive feeling.

Here is an example of Quicktime Player used by Apple again not everyone has or wants to have this player installed. It too only uses a menu system.

Here is an example of the Flash Player only opening the panoramic in a small window. This can be made full screen by clicking the button on the controller.

3D Modelling is another tool which can be used to show products of many kinds.

Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.
